Issue:

A well known video conferencing service had a lease expiration approaching while at the same time their building had recently sold. The new owner planned to improve the building to a degree, but client image was a concern and the amount of planned updates would not improve the building to a high enough standard. ​

Solution:

Avocat Group was able to leverage a renewal offer at the client’s current building to devise a negotiation strategy and create leverage with competing landlords. Avocat was able to secure optimal terms for an expansion in a competing building with tenant build out costs covered by the new landlord.

Result:

Our client was able to move into a Class A office building with incredible lakefront views at a very fair rate. The new space had the updated look and image that they were seeking to host clients of their own and secure their position as a market innovator. ​
